Prospective Members

On behalf of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life, we are excited to welcome you to Northwestern State University!  As you make the transition from high school to college, the Greek community at Northwestern State can provide a valuable network of support.  Choosing a sorority or fraternity means becoming a part of a group of men and women who have similar goals and values.  Sororities and fraternities provide a small, close knit group that provides you with a social network and helps build friendships that last a lifetime.

The Greek community at Northwestern State has been in existence since 1927.  For more than 80 years, we have been a community that fosters academic excellence, opportunities for chapter and campus leadership and close friendships with chapter members.  This portion of the Greek Life website is designed with you in mind as we introduce you to the Greek community and to answer questions about fraternity and sorority life and the rewards it can bring to your undergraduate experience at Northwestern State.
